- Open the Control Panel in Windows
- Select Network Connections
- On the connection with a padlock, right mouse click and select Properties
- On the Advanced tab select Internet Connection Firewall

| How do I find out if a program is allowed to get Internet access? Do I say yes to it all when BitGuard pops up with a question? |
If the program documentation is not clear about Internet access, then you could also use a search engine to look the program up and see if the results show if the program is ok. |
| I use to be able to play certain internet games but now they do not work anymore. How do I get them working again? |
Check if game has been configured in the firewall under Program Configuration. Check if the game requires certain ports must be opened. |
| Under "View - Statistics" are a log where I can see if BitGuard has blocked something. What can I use it for and how do I change the log? |
The statistics view shows what the firewall is currently doing. If you are having a problem with a program you can clearly see what is being blocked and thus be able to correct it. |
| How do I uninstall BitGuard? |
Open Control Panel in Windows and select Add/remove programs. |

No, you can reinstall with same license. But this code is only valid for one installation at a time. |

Check if you can set the ftp to passive mode, if you are still having problems you may consider setting the ftp program to Unrestricted in Program Configuration. |
